Steve Englund’s Golf Talk

Steve says…this is the time of year that everyone enjoys the most! In order to serve you best, we suggest planning ahead; call early for advanced tee times (accepted up to one week in advance), check the availability of the course due to tournament activity and anticipate the peak hours of play. The course is in excellent shape and we are working hard to give you the best golf experience in the area. Check out the great rates and beautiful greens that are right in your back yard, you won’t be disappointed.

Summer Coolers in the Bar

Yes, it’s that time of year. Quench your thirst with a diverse line up of refreshing cocktails prepared by our engaging staff. Amanda, Ian, Courtney (that’s right, she’s back from Spain), Liz and Roz are here to serve you and keep things lively. One of the most popular selections this time of year is Flavored Vodkas. We have a wide range Stoli and Absolute Fruit flavors that go great in a Shaker Cocktail or as a Pres. The Draft Beer line up is also evolving with the introduction of Red Hook ESB, Widmer Hef, Deschutes Black Butte Porter and Stella Artois! So when your golfing day is over or you just need a place to chill out, our lounge is ready to serve you.

Live Music Saturdays in July

Well, things just keep on getting better. It has been a pleasure to hear all the great compliments about the talented musicians we have been enjoying on Saturday evenings. Our goal is to provide music that has some depth and energy that you can feel. This month we have the following bands booked:

7/5 – Mark Riley Trio – Slide Man Extraordinaire with a deep soulful blues sound

7/12 – Fabulous Johnsons – Your favorites are back to rock you to the bone

7/19 – Blues Attitude – These guys know how to play to the crowd, prepare to be blown away

7/26 – Nick Figurino – This Crooning Blues Man is the real thing!

Monday Night Taco Bar - $5.99

We have a great deal for you on Monday nights…All you can eat Taco Bar in the lounge from 6 to 9pm! The kitchen staff has put together a beautiful spread that includes; Beef Taco Meat, Spanish Rice, Refried Beans, Pico de Gallo, Steamed or Crunchy Taco Shells, Sauces and Dips…at the very least. Be on the look out for some surprises too, we will add specialty items from time to time just to spice things up. Remember, Monday nights are Taco Night at the Lake Wilderness Grill.
